When we see a band's name, it gives us a impression, attitude and concept about the band. Our band name is Mercy Side, it is something about mercy, peace and love for everything on the earth.
2) How was the band formed and what was the most important ingredient in getting you guys to share this dream together?
Our band was formed based on each of our band mates love, interest and thrill for music. All of us have the interest in music since we are young. So when we grew up, we shared our interest amongst ourselves to form this band.
3) Does the band tend to gravitate towards any particular subject/theme, or are your lyrics mostly random thoughts?
Our music is basically towards alternative rock. The lyrics are about human lifestyle, feelings and thoughts.
4) What are you guys in this for? Money, fame, fortune?
We are in this because of our interest. We would like everyone to hear our songs. There are some people out there who have the same interest in this type of music. Money, fame and fortune is basically earned if our music is good and can be heard by everyone. If we have a chance to earn all 3 of these, we will definitely put in our best effort to be a good band and come out with good musics.
5) Would you choose to satisfy your own artistic integrity before you try to please your fans? Why and how?
We would definitely satisfy ourselves to compose good music and songs that everyone would enjoy listening to. With good music comes the fans. And when the fans comes along then we will definitely make more good music for our fans. This is actually satisfying ourselves and also our fans.
